Francesca (she/her) is excited to join the New Perspective team as a full-time Therapist Trainee. Having completed her doctoral coursework in Clinical Psychology, she is currently completing an advanced training year as she works toward earning her PsyD.
Francesca believes that healing happens within relationships where people feel deeply understood, accepted, and supported within the context of a collaborative partnership. Francesca works together with her clients to untangle the difficult to manage knots that can form in their lives. Sometimes this means exploring how those knots formed, while other times it involves developing the skills needed to loosen them so that life feels more manageable and fulfilling.
Francesca is currently developing expertise working with neurodivergent clients managing emotional dysregulation, executive dysfunction, and difficulties connecting with others, integrating psychoeducation with evidence based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These strategies support clients in increasing self-knowledge, developing and strengthening coping skills, and addressing barriers to meaningful connection with others.
