Anna (she/her) is thrilled to join the New Perspective team as a Therapist Intern. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College. As a therapist Anna enjoys creating a space where clients can share the puzzle pieces of their lives, sort through them in supportive collaboration, and start piecing together the full pictures..

Anna creates an environment that is warm, engaging, and non-judgmental. Through deep listening, empathy, humor, or collaborative “experiments,” Anna helps clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged. She views therapy as a space where individuals, couples, and families can explore long-held assumptions, say things they’ve never said out loud, and begin to move toward the life they want to live.

Through deep listening, empathy, humor, or collaborative “experiments,” Anna helps clients feel seen, supported, and gently challenged.

Anna brings to the therapeutic space a genuine curiosity about people, an appreciation for life’s complexities, and a belief that therapy can be a powerful tool for clarity, change, and healing.  She enjoys working with a wide range of clients including those exploring their gender and sexual identities, clients who are living with chronic or progressive illness, clients who are experiencing “caretaker burnout,” older adults, and those in long-term recovery from addiction.
