This 90-minute weekly group is a neurodiversity-affirming space where DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills are adapted to support the unique experiences of people with ADHD, Autism, or both.

We believe neurodiversity is a natural part of what it means to be human—not something to "fix." This group shifts the focus away from changing who you are and towards building skills that work with your brain’s unique setup.

Our Neurodiverse DBT Group is

specifically modified for people

who identify as ADHD, Autistic,

or otherwise neurodivergent.

What’s Different About

This Group?

Some of the Modifications include:

  • Stimming fidgeting and stimming encouraged!

  • Pacing is adjusted for more discussion and hands-on practice.

  • Real talk about neurodiversity—how Autism and ADHD shape daily life, and how DBT can support your nervous systems.

  • Mindfulness is inclusive – Practices are adapted to include options like mindful fidgeting, shorter exercises, and visual prompts.

  • Materials are accessible – Visuals are prioritized over long blocks of text to make content easier to engage with.

  • Examples are ND-relevant – Skills are taught using real-life scenarios that reflect the experiences of neurodivergent people.

  • Executive functioning is acknowledged – We explicitly connect each skill to common EF challenges, making the tools more practical and relevant.
