Although DBT was originally developed to treat Borderline Personality Disorder, research has shown it to be effective in supporting individuals with a range of challenges, including:

  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Substance Use Disorders

  • Eating Disorders

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum

  • Suicidal Thoughts

  • Self Harm

This 90-minute group provides a supportive environment to learn and practice DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills alongside others. Group members work together to apply over 75 evidence-based skills designed to reduce stress, increase emotional stability, promote calm, and improve communication and relationships.

MINDFULNESS

Helps individuals develop greater control over their attention, stay grounded in the present moment, and respond to situations with intention and wisdom.

EMOTION REGULATION

Offers practical tools to identify, understand, and manage intense emotions that often underlie problematic behaviors and interpersonal difficulties.

DISTRESS TOLERANCE

Builds skills to manage and survive emotional crises without resorting to impulsive or harmful behaviors.

INTERPERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS

Teaches strategies for communicating clearly and assertively, maintaining self-respect, and strengthening relationships—even in challenging situations.

ADDICTIONS

Addictive behaviors can involve substances, but also actions like shopping, binging, purging, avoiding, self-harm, or sex/dating. Using a harm reduction model, we explore how to reduce reliance on these behaviors while building healthier coping tools.
