Covid-19 has made us conscious of our physical health and wellbeing in a new way. As such we have all changed our lives to protect our loved ones, ourselves and our communities. While some of these adjustments may be positive over the long term, they also disrupt comforting routines, and leave many feeling isolated, irritable and anxious.

New Perspective has found much meaning in supporting our clients and communities through the current health crisis. At this time the safest way for many people to access therapy is through tele-sessions which all clinicians here provide upon request.

In person treatment remains a life-line to some who find that it is hard to connect through a computer, or do not have privacy at home. In-person mental healthcare is an essential service and as such our doors remain open .

Precautions

1) All staff are vaccinated against Covid-19 and have obtained booster shots.

2) In order to qualify for an in-person appointment you must have received your covid-19 vaccine.

3) Each office is equipped with a Molekule air purifiers. The Molekule uses FDA approved technology that shows that it can kill Corona viruses. While Covid19 was not available for testing at this time it seems likely that it would also be effective against that as well.

4) Masks are optional. Clients can request that their therapist remains masked.

5) Staff rotates times they are in the office in order to reduce traffic.

6) Increased disinfecting between clients and at the end of the day.

7) At times when you or your therapist have a minor illness but are well enough to attend, remote sessions will be offered.
